The Project

Winglets is a conceptual brand created as an entry point into sport for young children aged 5–7. The project explores how a junior sports club can feel welcoming, playful, and confidence-building while still having a clear, cohesive visual identity. The brand needed to capture the excitement of learning new skills, making friends, and taking first steps into team sport.

The Goal

The goal was to design an identity that feels fun and approachable for kids, while also reassuring and trustworthy for parents. The visual system needed to balance youthfulness with clarity. Simple forms and accessible colours to reinforce themes of growth and early development.

The Outcome

The final identity blends soft, modern typography with a bright, energetic colour palette. The system scales easily across apparel, signage, badges, and digital materials, giving Winglets a playful yet professional foundation. The result is a junior sports brand that feels nurturing, upbeat, and perfectly aligned with early-years sport participation.
